National Children’s Dental Health Month

February Is National Children’s Dental Health Month

Are you aware that February is National Children’s Dental Health Month? This is a great time to start thinking about your child’s dental health and what you can do to ensure they have a healthy smile for life. One of the best ways to promote good oral health habits is to get your child evaluated by an orthodontist early on. Learn more about February Is National Children’s Dental Health Month.

This article will explain why it’s vital for your child to see an orthodontist and how it can impact and drastically improve their dental health.

The Benefits of Early Orthodontic Evaluation

Although most people associate teenagers with orthodontics, there are several reasons why your child should have an orthodontic examination sooner rather than later. In fact, the American Association of Orthodontists recommends all adolescents visit an orthodontic specialist no later than age 7.

There are several benefits to scheduling an appointment with an orthodontist early on in life. Some of these benefits include:

  • preventing more severe problems from developing in the future
  • improvement of your child’s overall dental health
  • identifying issues early on can help save you money in the long run
  • early access to treatment options

Furthermore, early orthodontic treatment can:

  • aid the development of your child’s teeth and jaw
  • correct alignment issues early on
  • help improve your child’s self-esteem and confidence
  • improve the function and appearance of your child’s teeth

The sooner you get your child evaluated by an orthodontist, the sooner you can start implementing treatment options to improve their dental health.

The Importance of Early Orthodontic Treatment

Early orthodontic treatment can be a good option for children who have crooked teeth or other dental issues that may cause them to lose teeth prematurely. For example, if your child is losing their baby teeth early because they don’t fit properly in their mouth due to misaligned teeth, then early orthodontic treatment can help correct the problem.

Early treatment can also prevent more severe problems from developing down the road. For example, if your child has a severe case of crowding, early treatment can help make their teeth more manageable and easier to clean. This can reduce their risk for cavities and other dental problems down the road.

Furthermore, early orthodontic treatment can help improve your child’s overall health. For example, if your child has a poor alignment, they may be more likely to experience problems with their bite. This can lead to discomfort when eating, speaking, and brushing their teeth. Early treatment can help correct these problems and improve your child’s quality of life.

Conclusion

If you’re unsure whether your child needs early orthodontic treatment, reach out and schedule a visit.  Dr. Maria Yazji will advise you if it’s necessary based on your child’s dental health. And if needed, she can recommend a suitable treatment that will help your child’s dental health in the long run.

How Invisalign® Treatment Helped Me With My Dating Life

How Invisalign® Treatment Helped Me With My Dating Life

They say, “a smile is an important part of your personality,” but I never thought about it until I realized my crooked teeth were affecting my love life. When I began studying at FIU University in Miami, my bite was misaligned, and I had crooked teeth. I became a little shy and insecure about the way I looked. That’s when I noticed that having straight teeth could improve my overall appearance and my confidence. Know more about Invisalign Treatment in Miami, Weston, Brickell, and West Miami.

When I was younger, my parents would say my misaligned teeth looked cute on me. I never worried about them. But when I became older and I wanted to go out with friends, my smile started to bother me. I would find myself covering my mouth.

Dating is better with a straight smile

It was the beginning of 2020 when I moved from New York to Miami, I was a new student in Brickell, loving the nightlife and making new friends every week. In February I was excited to celebrate Valentine’s Day in downtown Miami. I remember I really liked one of my classmates from college.

Unfortunately, he didn’t ask me out and I had no date for Valentine’s Day.

So, one of my friends suggested registering on a dating app to meet new singles in the Miami area. It was a good idea, but I couldn’t upload a picture of me smiling into my profile. My smile wasn’t attractive. I needed to get my teeth fixed if I wanted to start dating someone.

That’s when I started looking for an orthodontist in the downtown Miami area to get my teeth straightened. Honestly, I wasn’t looking to get regular braces, I wasn’t a teenager anymore. I needed some discreet orthodontic solution.

Fortunately, a friend of mine introduced me to Monica. Monica had the most amazing smile you could imagine. Naturally, I asked her about it, and she explained she had got her teeth fixed by an award-winning orthodontist in Brickell: Dr. Maria Yazji, right on Brickell Ave, only a few blocks away from FIU.

It was thanks to her that I learned about Dr. Yazji and her incredible staff. I didn’t waste any time and made an appointment to meet with Dr. Yazji. She told me about Invisalign treatment and I got started on my Invisalign® journey that very same day.

Dr. Yazji is a Diamond Top 1% Invisalign® provider nationwide and offers free Invisalign® consultations in Miami, I was so lucky to have her as my orthodontist.

The right choice

When Monica told me about her orthodontic office in Brickell, I thought I’d give it a shot, and to be honest, since the moment I arrived at Dr. Yazji’s orthodontic office, I knew she was the orthodontist who was going to help me fix my smile. Everyone was so welcoming and kind. It was the right choice. Now I can say I love my smile and my dating life is thriving.

Keep reading if you want to hear Raymond’s story about Invisalign® Treatment in Miami designed by Dr. Yazji.

The Benefits of Invisalign®

When Raymond decided to get Invisalign®, he realized that his new treatment had several benefits.

Some of the benefits that Raymond found included:

  • A more confident smile
  • Improved oral health
  • More aesthetically pleasing teeth
  • A more convenient way to maintain oral hygiene

As you can see, these benefits are great reasons to consider Invisalign® treatment in Miami by Dr. Maria Yazji.

How Invisalign® Works

Before Raymond decided to invest in Invisalign®, he wanted to be sure that he understood how the treatment worked.

Invisalign® uses sets of clear aligners designed to shift your teeth gradually into the correct position. These aligners are custom-made and should fit your teeth perfectly.

Each set of aligners is worn for between one or two weeks depending on the instructions your orthodontist gives you. Your Invisalign® aligners will gradually shift your teeth into the desired position your orthodontist planned for you.

Who Is a Good Candidate for Invisalign®?

Like Raymond, if you are embarrassed about your smile and want to achieve the perfect grin, you could be the ideal candidate for Invisalign® treatment in Miami.

Good candidates include:

  • Patients with mild to moderate orthodontic problems
  • People who want a more discreet treatment
  • Those who are willing to wear aligners to straighten their teeth
  • Young professionals and teens that are self-conscious about their smile

Invisalign® is also a great potential option for people who have difficulty with traditional braces. So, if you meet any of these qualifications, then Invisalign® treatment may be a good option for you.

Do you think your smile it’s too complicated? Let Dr. Yazji have a look. She’s transformed all kinds of smiles from simple to complex using Invisalign®.

What to Expect Before Your Appointment

Now that Raymond has completed his Invisalign® treatment in Miami, he has some helpful advice for those considering it. Here are some of the things that Raymond says to expect during your Invisalign® treatment:

  • You won’t have to go in to be seen every four to six weeks. You can enjoy remote orthodontic checkups via Anywhere Smiles® by Dr. Maria Yazji. This will help you save time and money.
  • Your orthodontist will monitor your improvement throughout your treatment remotely and communicate with you via an app that uses artificial intelligence called DM (Dental monitoring).
  • You may initially experience some discomfort and minor soreness, but this will disappear quickly.
  • You’ll need to wear Invisalign® aligners for at least 22 hours a day during treatment.

If you wear your aligners as instructed by your orthodontist, you can expect to see results in a few months.

The day of love and romance is just around the corner, and we’re all daydreaming about fancy romantic dinner dates and, yes, chocolates. All that sounds delightful, but how about a little bit of extra self-care as Valentine’s Day treat? At Contemporary Orthodontics we have the perfect option for you to fall in love with your smile: Invisalign® treatment.

Keep reading to find out all about one of the most popular braces in the world.

Why Invisalign® Treatment Might be Perfect for You

There are many good reasons to wear braces, and there are many different types of braces. At Contemporary Orthodontics we offer a wide range of orthodontic options to cater to everyone’s needs such as regular metal braces, ceramic braces, lingual braces, Invisalign® clear aligners, expanders, and much more. Today, however, we’d like to provide you with more information about Invisalign® treatment and why it might be the right choice for you.

Invisibility, the Power of Discretion.

As their name clearly indicates, we are talking about clear aligners, which will give you the power of discretion while following the treatment. Everyone knows what traditional braces look like, and many aren’t ready to wear those. With Invisalign® there’s no need to feel self-conscious about wearing clear aligners, as they’re not easily noticeable.

Comfort

Besides being virtually invisible, they’re also comfortable thanks to their SmartTrack® material. They’re made of smooth plastic, which means no wires or sharp edges will bother or hurt you.

Removable

When it comes to oral hygiene, they are more convenient because you can remove them and brush your teeth as you would normally do. You may also clean your Invisalign® clear aligners thoroughly when you’re not wearing them. Dr. Maria Yazji recommends using a Steraligner® oral appliance cleaning solution to keep your Invisalign® aligners sanitized.

No Food Restrictions

If you can remove your Invisalign® aligners to clean them and brush your teeth, you can also remove them to eat anything you want, with no restrictions. Chewy or hard foods? No problem, remove your aligners, enjoy your food, brush your teeth, and put them back.

Low Maintenance

We will provide you with different sets of aligners so you can move on smoothly to the next one. No time for monthly orthodontic checkups? Don’t worry. You might not have to visit us very often. Keep reading to find out about our remote checkup appointments.

5 Reasons Getting Braces is the Best New Year’s Resolution

“New Year, New Me”, Right?

Or at least that’s what we all tell ourselves until the 5th of January. Many New Year’s resolutions consist of breaking habits or taking up new ones and most of us think that we will adopt a new lifestyle effortlessly and overnight. And that’s why it is time for you to set realistic and achievable goals, such as enhancing your smile, increasing your confidence, and taking care of your oral health. If you’re not yet determined to make braces one of your goals for 2022, here are 5 reasons why you should do it:

Better Overall Health

Having crooked or unaligned teeth poses risks to your overall physical health, such as gum disease, tooth decay, or cavities, since they’re harder to clean and bacteria can thus easily grow. By aligning your teeth using braces, you’ll be able to keep a much better oral hygiene and overall health.

Say Goodbye to Bad Breath

Teeth are better cleaned when they are aligned and have correct spacing. Consequently, this will help reduce bad breath, caused mainly by growing bacteria between the teeth.

Become More Self-Confident

Feeling better about your smile and not having bad breath are very positive benefits of following orthodontic treatment. But being confident and smiling as often as you like has no price. Many patients are shy and cover their mouths when they smile, others simply refrain from smiling. After your orthodontic treatment with braces or Invisalign® clear aligners is over, you will notice how often you smile and how good you feel about it.

Reduce Pain

Crooked or unaligned teeth can also cause jaw-clenching, lip-biting, or not chewing food properly and all these problems can lead to headaches and jaw pain. By aligning your teeth with braces, you might experience less pain and fewer issues when eating or speaking.

Correct Your Bite

By aligning your teeth using braces, you’ll notice many benefits at the end of your orthodontic treatment: you might be able to sleep, eat, and speak much better, and as we pointed out before, your oral hygiene will be amazingly improved.

Our Braces at Contemporary Orthodontics

Once you’ve decided to embark on this amazing adventure, you must decide which type of braces are right for you. But don’t worry, you will not have to make that decision on your own: when you’re ready to talk we will guide you during a free smile consultation with Dr. Maria Yazji in one of her offices in Weston, Brickell, or West Miami. Before that, here are the types of orthodontic services we offer at our clinic, besides the regular metal ones:

We are experts in esthetic braces, to help many who are self-aware and prefer to stay on the discreet side.

Invisalign® is one of the most popular braces all over the world because they allow you to continue with your lifestyle while straightening your teeth. Another good and discreet option is Incognito® lingual braces, they are hidden because they are placed behind your teeth, no one will know you’re wearing them unless you tell them. We also offer ceramic braces, which have a similar color as your own teeth and work the same way as regular metal braces. They’re not as invisible as the other two, but they’re not so obvious.

For more detailed information about the types of braces we offer, click here.

Ready to fulfill your New Year’s resolution? We have three convenient locations in Weston, Downtown Miami, right in the heart of Brickell — the Miami Financial District, and West Miami areas. Book your free appointment with Dr. Maria Yazji here today and start smiling!

How-to-Celebrate-the-Holidays-with-Your-Braces

Taking Care Of Your Braces During The Holidays

The Christmas bells are ringing, and the holidays are calling you. Holidays mean travel and family gatherings. Getting the family together means delicious food, BBQ, and much more. Unfortunately, for those undergoing orthodontic treatment, the concern is which foods they should avoid while in braces.

Taking Care Of Your Braces

All they want is to enjoy the treats while keeping their braces in perfect condition. Here at Dr. Maria Yazji Orthodontics, we want to help you enjoy these holidays while keeping your braces and orthodontic appliances right how they should be.

Before you go on vacation, you should also make sure you have enough elastic bands, interdental brushes, and carry some wax, just in case you get a poking wire. If you’re doing Invisalign® treatment, don’t forget your Invisalign® aligner case to keep your clear aligners safe. Also, if you’re having virtual checkups, keep scanning your smile so Dr. Yazji can monitor your treatment remotely while you’re in traveling the world. Keeping your oral hygiene on point takes more time while you’re wearing braces, and we know it’s even more of a challenge during the holidays.

That’s why we’ve put together a few tips to help you take care of your braces during the holidays.

Foods you should avoid

Hard chips and nuts are tempting snacks while on a road trip. Stay away from these as they can interfere with your treatment. Grabbing handfuls of buttery, delicious popcorn is a classic while enjoying a Christmas movie with the family. But if you’re wearing braces, you should avoid them because popcorn kernels can break your brackets. Popcorn hulls can press up against your gums when trapped under the wires of your braces. They can easily get caught in your brackets and wires and are difficult to remove. Plus, these tiny particles can cause pain and sometimes make your gums bleed.

The good news is that you can enjoy other snack options if you have braces:

  • Ice-cream
  • Cheese slices
  • Baked (not fried) potato chips
  • Berries, pear, banana, or other soft fruit slices
  • Soft baked cookies, muffins, and baked goods like croissants and cakes
  • Soft chocolate
  • Yogurt
  • Hard-boiled eggs
  • Soft pretzels

Braces Care Tips

If you want to keep your braces in good condition, you must:

Brush your teeth: Ensure bacteria is removed from your teeth by brushing your teeth twice a day. If possible, brush after every meal to remove loose food from under brackets and wires to prevent the buildup of food leftovers in the mouth.

The American Dental Association recommends brushing your teeth twice a day with fluoride toothpaste for two minutes each time.

Floss: Flossing is a must and should be done after every meal or at least twice a day. Flossing will help keep your brackets and braces are clean. If you’re wearing Invisalign® aligners, you can floss as you would normally do. If you have braces, make sure you take interdental brushes with you. These brushes serve as an alternative to flossing, and they can help you reach hard-to-reach places, such as underwires, between brackets, and in the back of your mouth.

Rinse: Don’t forget to rinse with a mouthwash solution.

Elastics: If your orthodontist instructed you to wear elastics, remember to wear them all the time. You can only take the elastics off during meals or while brushing your teeth. If you don’t wear the elastics, there could be an increased risk of shifting teeth.

Whether you are undergoing orthodontic treatment with braces or Invisalign®, the holiday season is that time of the year to be jolly, unwind from work, and spend time with the ones you care about the most while enjoying yummy foods. Just make sure you stay on track with your orthodontic treatment as planned by your orthodontist.

However, if you’re not wearing braces and would like to start your journey to a straight smile, request a complimentary consultation for regular braces, ceramic braces, lingual braces, or Invisalign® treatment with Dr. Maria Yazji at one of her offices in Broward County or Miami-Dade County: Weston, Downtown Brickell, or West Miami.

Braces in Miami, Florida.

Isn’t it so cute when kids suck their thumbs?

It turns out that this seemingly cute and harmless habit of many kids can cause misalignment of your child’s permanent teeth. This is exactly what happened to me. What is worse, it can also affect the jaw or the shape and roof of the mouth.

Braces Near Me

I used to suck my thumb vigorously when I was a child. My parents didn’t pay much attention to it because it’s a common habit among kids. Little did they know that this habit of mine would rob my self-confidence in later life. I kept sucking my thumb until I was ten. As a consequence, all my teeth came out crooked. I was shy to even smile in public, I would cover my mouth because I was ashamed of my teeth. That’s when my mom thought it was time to do something about it. She started searching online for the best braces in Miami, and talked about it with her family members, hoping that someone could recommend a smile specialist in the area. That’s when a family friend recommended Dr. Maria Yazji in Miami.

So, we called her office and book a free orthodontic consult. When I had my smile consultation with Dr. Yazji, I learned I could start orthodontic treatment to fix my smile and I was so happy she could help me straighten my teeth. She explained everything about dental braces and all the treatment options I could choose from.

Types of Braces

Many people think of braces as just metal pieces to hold your teeth. Well, that’s a thing of the past now. Maria Yazji offers many other braces types to help correct your teeth like:

Traditional braces

Traditional braces are usually made of metal. These braces have metal brackets that get attached to the front of your teeth. They also have flexible wires that are used to hold braces or bands in place. Some braces may also include rubber bands or metal ties that help link the braces to the wire.

Ceramic Braces

The metal brackets are replaced by tooth-colored ceramic brackets in this type of braces. Because the color of the bracket matches the enamel, these braces aren’t very visible.

Lingual Braces

The brackets on these types of braces are attached to the back of the teeth. No one will know you’re wearing lingual braces unless you tell them. Like Invisalign® aligners, models are made from 3D scans. Then Dr. Yazji works on your orthodontic case and prepares the prescription for the lab.

Invisalign® Clear Aligners

These are the braces option that most people prefer nowadays. If you google ‘braces in Miami’, you will get options mostly related to clear aligners. Invisalign® aligners are clear, removable aligners that gradually straighten your teeth. While in treatment, you must wear a series of trays every one or two weeks as prescribed by your orthodontist. The trays apply pressure to your teeth to make them move into the right position and hence straighten your smile. The convenience of clear aligners is that they are removable, and you can easily brush your teeth and eat whatever you want. You’re expected to keep them on for at least 22 hours a day.

We had a detailed talk about it with Dr. Maria Yazji and I chose ceramic braces to fix my smile. They are supposed to hurt a little, but my experience was comfortable overall. After two years, I had my ceramic braces off, and I revealed a huge difference in my teeth. My smile was perfectly aligned and was able to laugh with confidence, showing off my perfectly straight teeth.

If you are also looking for the best braces in Miami, I’d suggest having a consultation with Dr. Maria and getting a perfect smile. You can request a complimentary appointment here.

You deserve a Smile you Love

Smiling makes you look better, but let’s face it, the smiles that have perfectly aligned teeth are the most attractive. This is the reason why I was always ashamed to laugh my heart out in public. As a child, I never thought of how my teeth looked. However, as I grew up, I became more and more conscious about my teeth. Still, I didn’t give much thought to getting my teeth fixed. It was right when my teeth started getting cavities; even after proper hygiene, that I started worrying about my teeth. I began searching for Invisalign® near me and came across Maria Yazji, a 5-star orthodontist reviewed in Weston, Brickell, and West Miami. You will learn about the benefits of Invisalign treatment in this article, so go through it.

A Beautiful Selfie-Ready Smile

I made an appointment with Maria Yazji, a Diamond Plus Invisalign® Provider nationwide, and that was the best decision I ever made regarding orthodontics and oral care. Initially, I was reluctant to get Invisalign® treatment because I didn’t know if Invisalign® was right for me, then Maria Yazji had a detailed discussion about it and told me all the benefits of Invisalign® treatment.

Benefits of Invisalign Treatment

Know More information about the Benefits of Invisalign Treatment…

  • As compared to traditional braces, clear Invisalign® aligners are much more comfortable. Unlike regular metal braces, clear aligners do not have sharp edges or brackets, or wires.
  • Since Invisalign® aligners are removable, you can brush and floss as usual, meaning better dental hygiene.
  • Fewer emergency orthodontic appointments.
  • No food restrictions. Simply remove your aligners to eat or drink whatever you want. No need to remove your aligners if you’re having cold water.

Invisalign® Can Treat a Wide Range of Teeth Straightening Conditions

At my consultation with Dr. Yazji in Weston, I learned Invisalign® is not only for aligning crooked teeth, but it can also fix other issues like crossbite, open bite, gapped teeth, overbite, and underbite.

When I was searching for ‘Invisalign® near me’ I noticed some dentists offering clear aligners, but I knew dentists are not orthodontists, they don’t specialize in moving teeth and for orthodontic treatment, you need an orthodontist for sure. After reviewing who was my best option to fix my teeth, I got a free smile consultation with Dr. Maria Yazji because she’s an expert with the Invisalign® system, she treats more than 400 patients a year making her a Diamond Invisalign® Plus orthodontist in the US.

I used to have overcrowded teeth, which tend to trap food particles, and no matter how much I tried to brush and floss, my oral health was poor because I couldn’t reach the crowded spaces between my teeth.

Luckily, after using Invisalign® aligners for one year, my teeth were much less crowded, and it was easier to maintain good oral hygiene. Of course, I could smile with confidence knowing my teeth looked already straight to me. You must have got the benefits of Invisalign treatment in this article.

You Can Eat Any Foods

When I went in for my orthodontic consultation, I was aware that with braces I wouldn’t be able to eat all kinds of goods. Many food items are prohibited with braces because hard foods can snap off a wire or bracket with ease, and sticky food may stick in the metal cage.  With Invisalign®, you can eat or drink anything you want without worrying.

See your future Smile before your treatment starts

With Invisalign® treatment and regular metal braces, you can straighten your smile. Yes! both orthodontic treatment options work for most people, but with the Invisalign® simulation tool, your orthodontist can show you how your smile is going to change along your smile journey.  Of course, you would have to comply with the treatment, don’t miss any appointments, and follow Dr. Yazji’s instructions.

The best part that is Invisalign® aligners is barely noticeable, unlike braces. People won’t even be aware that you’re wearing them.

Conclusion

When I was searching for an expert in Invisalign® near me, I had many doubts in my mind. But after meeting with Maria Yazji and knowing she would design a customized treatment plan for my case, I was convinced that this was something I had always needed my entire life. After completing my Invisalign® journey, all my dental worries were gone, and I’m now enjoying a smile I love.

So, if you are searching for an expert of the Invisalign® near me, book a free consult with Dr. Maria Yazji, she offers consultations in three convenient locations: Weston, Brickell, and West Miami.

Enjoy Halloween While Celebrating National Orthodontic Health Month

National Orthodontic Health Month

Are you ready to eat all those chocolate bars, candy canes, and marshmallows? Halloween is coming up, and we know kids are anxiously waiting to get their hands on that candy. But wait, did you know that October is also National Orthodontic Health Month?

Orthodontic Specialists

As orthodontic specialists, we care about your smile and want it to be healthy and bright. So, we are dedicating this month to helping you learn more about orthodontic treatment and how to care for your teeth.

We know that it’s very difficult for children to resist chocolate, especially around the Halloween season. It becomes even more difficult when your children are wearing braces, as soft and gooey candy-like marshmallows can get stuck in their brackets. Hard candies and sticky candies are totally off-limits, they can break the brackets so children should avoid this type of candy.

As a parent, you must be concerned about your child’s oral health. Misaligned teeth can occur as teeth develop. That’s why age 7 is an ideal time to get an orthodontic evaluation with your local orthodontist, Dr. Maria Yazji. Some children have bad habits such as thumb sucking and breathing constantly through the mouth that can lead to severe orthodontic issues. Dr. Yazji can do a comprehensive evaluation and recommend an early treatment if your child needs it. Delaying an orthodontic consultation can result in extended treatment times.

So, if your child needs orthodontic treatment or your dentist recommended visiting an orthodontist for a complete evaluation for braces to give them the smile they deserve, visit Dr. Maria Yazji in Weston, downtown Brickell, or West Miami and learn about orthodontic treatment options for you or your family.

Orthodontic Treatment in Miami

Are you already wearing braces? If you’re already embarked on the journey to a smile you’ll love and you don’t want to mess with your brackets and wires, follow the tips below by Dr. Maria Yazji to protect your orthodontic appliances during this fun-filled month.

  1. Don’t eat hard or sticky Halloween candies

It’s really hard to avoid fudge, gummies, taffy, caramel, pretzels, and jelly beans during the treat-filled month of Halloween. But if you want to get good results with your braces, avoid these treats while in treatment. Just try a little harder and avoid sugary candy.

  1. Stay away from nuts and cashews

Some chocolates usually contain nuts and cashews. Please try not to eat such candies, chips, and popcorn. They could get stuck in your brackets or wires. Popcorn alternatives include Pirate’s Booty and rice puffs.

  1. Brush and floss your teeth twice a day!

It is recommended to brush your teeth twice a day, even if you don’t have braces, but if you’re in braces and you’ve eaten something sweet, it is best to brush your teeth right after the sweet meal. Also, brushing your teeth right after a sweet meal can save you from cavities. Brush your teeth twice a day with ADA-accepted fluoride toothpaste and don’t forget to floss.

At Dr. Yazji Orthodontics we see a lot of patients after Halloween with loose and broken brackets. Broken braces or broken appliances mean your teeth are not moving as planned by your orthodontist and that your treatment may take longer than Dr. Yazji originally designed. That’s why is very important to follow your orthodontist’s instructions.

If you have a broken appliance or loose bracket, call us so that we can schedule an appointment for you with adequate time for repair. We will work to fix the problem quickly, so you can continue your orthodontic treatment and avoid painful cuts from the loose brackets.
